Here are some quotes from the various dance studios who utilize SeeChicagoDance.com to boost their ticket sales.
“SeeChicagoDance has been a critical resource for us during our start up phase as it has greatly increased our web visibility while our own site is under construction. We have found the administrative process extremely accessible and easy to use.
We are pleased to offer our growing audience an easy means for purchasing on–line tickets. Though our work is well received and we have a strong following we, like most other dance companies, strive and struggle to find adequate funding. We are a small start up company who does not yet have the resources to offer on–line ticketing via any means other than SeeChicagoDance, and we find their web connections to the public to be an important asset in building audience.
As a director, I make a point of seeing a lot of dance in the community. My schedule is quite hectic and as a result important performances produced by other companies often escape my calendar. My weekly emails from SeeChicagoDance have been extremely helpful in getting performances on my calendar, purchasing tickets, and getting me to the work of my colleagues, which in turn fosters dialogue between myself and other dancemakers. I firmly believe that the services provided by SeeChicagoDance are invaluable professional tools that deserve to be generously funded.”

“In a city thriving with arts and culture, it is often difficult for patrons and potential audience members to sift through the wealth of information at their fingertips to find information that's relevant to them and their needs. Websites are often so cluttered that it's difficult for Chicagoans to quickly find what they need to make their next purchasing decision.
It's for this reason that The Joffrey Ballet has chosen to have an ongoing relationship with SeeChicagoDance.com. Not only is the site incredibly well organized, it provides patrons with the information they need—the only information they need—to learn about dance events in the city. Patrons are able to quickly identify upcoming performances, locations, prices and special discounts that will, eventually, help turn them into lifelong dance patrons—an invaluable asset to the city's dance organizations. Through this site, we're able to reach out directly to those people who have an inherent interest in dance, thereby guaranteeing that our limited marketing dollars are well spent.
The staff that runs the site has impeccable customer service and works with our organization to find the best possible packages to fit our needs. The nature of a grass–roots Website is that the people running the show are often just as interested in building dance audiences as the organizations putting on the performances—the same is true for SeeChicagoDance.com. In addition, the way the site is built makes it simple for time–crunched organizations like ours to quickly and easily manage our online content. This, too, is an invaluable asset for arts organizations that often need to make quick changes on times and dates of performances to accommodate audience needs.
Because of the value we see in this site, The Joffrey Ballet will continue to build our relationship with SeeChicagoDance.com and hope that it remains as invaluable to the city of Chicago as it is to us.”

“In my capacity as Dance Editor of Time Out Chicago weekly magazine, I find the SeeChicagoDance.com service to be invaluable. Because it offers a comprehensive listing of almost ALL the dance performance events in the city, it allows me to double–check that my listings are as inclusive as possible.
Many of the smaller Chicago–based companies do not have the resources to send me press releases, but they have been reached by your team! These groups do list on SeeChicagoDance. Thus, I can make sure to include them in our publication, which reaches a very broad, non–dance focused audience.”

“As one of the very first dance companies to use SeeChicagoDance.com to promote our Harris Theater concerts, we knew immediately that it was and is a unique conduit to get our message to the dance audience community. We have continued to use the site for our fall and spring Harris concerts.
Also, as a member of the Chicago dance audience, I choose SeeChicagoDance.com as a valuable source of information, and even more importantly, of major discount offers.”

“SeeChicagoDance.com is a vital tool for the ever–expanding dance community. It is a way for dance companies to connect and collaborate. It is also a way for the community to discover what performances are available to them. It also is a way to provide discounted show tickets, allowing a wider audience to attend such performances. Because there are so many small dance companies in Chicago, many of whom have limited funds themselves for advertising, SeeChicagoDance.com allows them a way to get their information to the public.”

“We would like to take this opportunity to tell you about our experience with SeeChicagoDance.com.
As a not–for–profit dance company, Chicago Festival Ballet is always looking for creative, cost–effective way to generate interest in our productions. SeeChicagoDance.com is an important service that helps organizations like ours to do just that.
Last year was our first year performing our annual “Nutcracker” at the Harris Theater for Music and Dance in Millennium Park. We utilized SeeChicagoDance.com to publicize our debut and were very pleased with the results, especially with the Hot Deals program, which allowed us sell tickets at a discounted rate to SeeChicagoDance.com subscribers.
We hope you will support this worthy organization and its mission of promoting dance in Chicago.”

“SeeChicagoDance helps me reach a larger and comprehensive dance community, and this has proved invaluable to me. They offer opportunities to send out information about my upcoming dance performances to a mailing list much bigger than mine alone. Their services, from online ads to dedicated eblasts have really helped grow my audience and I will continue to use their services on a yearly basis.”
